Select Booth is a Melbourne company, based at 72 Chifley Dr, Preston, not an interstate operator behind a web form. If your booth ever needs anything, we're minutes away, and you talk directly to the people who build and maintain it.

We started Select Booth because venues deserve both the revenue and the customer relationship a booth creates. Most operators keep the data. We hand it over.

What does the booth cost my venue?
Nothing, ever. We fund the booth, the install, the paper, the maintenance and the support. You provide a 1 × 2 metre space and a standard power point; we handle everything else.
How does the revenue share work?
Guests tap to pay for each session and your venue earns a share of every dollar, paid monthly with a simple statement showing exactly how many sessions ran. Before you sign anything, we'll model an exact earnings estimate for your foot traffic, with no invoicing hassle and no chasing.
How much space and power does it need?
A 1 × 2 metre patch of floor (about 2 m²) plus a normal power point. A quiet corner works perfectly. No plumbing and no network cabling required; the booth has its own internet connection.
Who looks after it? Do my staff need to do anything?
No. The booth runs itself: cashless payments, no props to manage, no cash to handle. We monitor every booth remotely, restock paper before it runs out, and being based in Preston we're on site fast if anything ever needs a human.
What happens if it breaks down?
One message and it's our problem, not yours. We usually know before you do: the booth alerts us when paper runs low, a payment terminal drops out or it goes offline, and we can fix most things remotely the same day. If it needs hands-on attention we're local, so you're not waiting on an interstate technician. You never pay for repairs.
What do we actually get from the guest data?
Guests always get their prints. To receive digital copies, they enter an email at the booth, and those emails, with proper marketing consent, go into your venue's own mailing list along with analytics on sessions and busy periods. It's your list: use it for gig announcements, specials and functions.
Is the data collection legal? What about privacy?
Yes. Guests explicitly opt in at the booth before anything is added to your list, and collection is handled in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act. You get a clean, consented list you can actually email, not scraped data.
Are we locked into a contract?
No lock-in. If the booth isn't working for your venue, we remove it free of charge. We keep venues by making them money, not by trapping them in paperwork.
How long does installation take?
From a yes to a live booth is typically about four weeks: we build and brand the booth off-site, then install in a single after-hours visit so we never disrupt trade.
Can we use it for private functions?
Yes. Every booth includes a function mode: flip it to free-play and we simply reduce your revenue share for that month, which works out far cheaper than hiring an event booth in. Most venues build it into their function package and still charge the customer, so it pays for itself. And for your own special nights, like the staff Christmas party, the booth is on us.
